This beautiful cottage on Gun Lake was poorly laid out for this homeowner.  Walls were removed and redesigned allowing for a kitchen with an open floor plan and a great view of the lake.  A custom built island provided the room for an oversized down draft range.  The countertop in Formica’s FX180 accented the Maple Chili pepper glazed stain to give an overall rich look at a substantial savings over Granite.  We also added a spacious peninsula with seating for 4 providing plenty of space for food preparation.  The rollouts above the refrigerator which are unique to Kitchens By Katie, allow for easy access to all that is stored inside. “My kitchen was not a reface but a total redo. We brought in Kitchens by Katie after we had gutted and reworked the area. They were attentive to the look I was trying to achieve and would take the time to listen to my concerns. Mike built the cabinets from the ground up and we are pleased with the workmanship. I was quite picky about the color I wanted.
