Due to the extent of remodeling this kitchen was going to require the homeowner chose to replace all of their cabinets instead of refacing. A new layout was created trying to create the most functional space for the amount of entertaining they do. The entry door was removed and replaced with a window. The wall behind the refrigerator was removed along with the peninsula so the refrigerator could be turned. This opened up the kitchen into the living room and allowed for a very large island. A closet was removed and transformed, along with an existing pantry, into a large walk-in pantry. Several contractors worked harmoniously with Kitchens By Katie to create an open, free flowing space. The natural Cherry Shaker style door brought this kitchen from outdated to absolutely outstanding. The addition of many custom organizers personalized this kitchen specific to this homeowner. Right down to the tool caddy. The large island allows seating for six allowing plenty of movement flowing in and around the kitchen. The combination of Toasted Almond Quartz and green glass subway tile took this kitchen to the level that the homeowner was looking for. “This truly is the kitchen of my dreams”
